Remember that dating is a process that's supposed to be fun, it's okay to take breaks and there's no need to rush. Some people take years to find 1 compatible partner, so if it takes you longer to find more, that is OKAY and NORMAL.
I will always remember a piece of advice that my late aunt gave me as a teenager:
"It's better to be single, than to be in a bad relationship."
I would extend that to polyamory - it's better to have one partner or no partners, than to be in a dysfunctional dynamic with the wrong people. Polyamory can be pretty complicated sometimes, so partner choice is absolutely key to long-term success and minimal drama.
