Non-Monogamy Peer Support

Whether you are looking for advice, resource recommendations, emotional support, a fresh perspective, or a listening ear from someone who 'gets it', book an online, 100% confidential session with me for guidance on your non-monogamous journey.

I have worked with individuals, couples, and polycules in 40+ countries. I have been actively non-monogamous since 2016, and my insights are informed by my lived experience as a bisexual, autistic, ADHD, and Chinese non-binary femme. I am also in training to become a qualified therapist.

My sessions are a space for you to process your feelings in a safe, non-judgmental space. After the session, you will also receive a follow-up email containing a curated list of resources, specifically customised to your needs.

  • Peer support is centred around shared lived experience between the helper and helpee, whereas therapy is a clinical role focused on treating a client’s mental health issues and/or past traumas. Peer support is not a replacement for therapeutic counselling.

In my sessions, I offer emotional support, some practical advice, and the occasional personal anecdote if I feel it will inform your experience and help you feel less alone. Therapy, meanwhile, focuses on reflecting your emotional experience back to you and helping you find your own answers. Therapy does not involve any advice or self-disclosure from the therapist; peer support does.

I have been actively non-monogamous since 2016, and use what I’ve learned on my journey to support yours. The people I work with may not have a local non-monogamous community to seek support and advice from, or may simply be seeking additional perspective from someone who ‘gets it’ and can keep things absolutely confidential.

I am currently training to become a therapist (see below for my current qualifications), and while I will be employing some reflective listening techniques from my training, and asking some questions about your past in order to inform the issues in your present, I will not do anything beyond what I am qualified to do e.g. issue diagnoses or create treatment strategies.

  • Whether you’re just starting out and looking for guidance on your journey, or a seasoned non-monogamist looking for additional perspective, you’ve come to the right place. I can help with a multitude of topics related to non-monogamy, including:

    • Exploring whether non-monogamy is right for you, and why

    • Assessing your own needs, identifying personal values, setting and enforcing boundaries, and creating relationship agreements for sustainable non-monogamy

    • Bringing up non-monogamy to your partner with tact and sensitivity

    • Processing and overcoming jealousy, possessiveness, and/or insecurity, and identifying where it comes from

    • Rebuilding relationships after cheating and broken boundaries/agreements

    • Relationship transitions - breakups, deescalations, restructuring, and navigating change in non-monogamous dynamics

    • Exploring group play - threesomes, foursomes, swinging, orgies, sex parties, and other sexual adventures

    • Mono-poly relationships, and embracing differences between yourself and your partner(s)

    • Non-monogamous dating - profile reviews, dating red flags, vetting partners, and other strategies and tips

    • Coming out - to yourself, or to others (family, friends, children, work, etc) and responding to potential questions and misconceptions

    • Preparing for your partner(s) going on a date with someone else

    • Meeting your partner’s partner(s) for the first time

    • Managing multiple relationships and balancing the needs of multiple partners

    • Maintaining collaborative and fulfilling relationships in your polycule with partner(s) and metamours

    • Handling conflict in polyamorous networks

    • Healing from and processing a breakup, or supporting your partner(s) with a breakup

    …and much more.

  • I have been offering non-monogamy peer support since March 2021 and have done 700+ client hours. I am a therapist in training, and am on track to qualify in 2026 - at that point, I will be able to offer both peer support and therapy as separate services depending on a client’s needs.

I hold a CPCAB Certificate in Counselling Skills and a Certificate in Counselling Studies. I am also a trained sex educator with Split Banana, where I earned a Certificate in Delivering Inclusive Relationships and Sex Education. I am in the process of qualifying with a Diploma in Relationship Counselling and Certificate in Intimate Partner Therapy after that.

I completed a Law degree at the University of Oxford, where I was an unofficial ‘agony aunt’ on a university confessions page. Before this, I received peer support training and was appointed a Peer Support Officer in 2015-2016, and have generally been the ‘mum friend’ in my social circles. Above all, my lived experience of non-monogamy, which stretches back to 2016, gives me unique perspective and insight to support you on your journey.
