I was honoured to have been part of the first ever literary salon hosted by the Erotic Review, which describes itself as a "biannual art and literary journal that explores desire for a contemporary audience." This event was all about non-monogamy, the ethics of opening up when your partner is reluctant, and much more - and I really enjoyed myself! Disability and Polyamory
How do you balance caretaking and desire? My latest video diary entry is about my experience and feelings around dating people with physical disabilities as a physically able-bodied person, how I am reframing my 'rescuing' tendency in therapy, and resources on how to care for someone while maintaining a sexual spark and without infantalising or desexualising them in the process. This one's a bit of a vulnerable share, going into my past mistakes and how they affect my present - and I think it's an important conversation to have in a world that can be so ableist.
'Open House' and Non-Monogamous Reality TV
I was interviewed by Cosmopolitan on season 3 of Open House, a British show where couples (with the help of a non-monogamy coach) open up their relationship for the first time and sexy shenanigans ensue. The article gets into how polyamorous couples really handle jealousy, and I also share the pitfalls of what I call tit-for-tat dating. Give it a read!
Also, in case you missed it, I actually reacted to every single episode of season 2 on my Patreon, diving into what each couple in all 8 episodes did right and wrong and what advice I would have given them if I were on the show.
