Polyamory Doesn’t Mean Accepting Disrespect.
Just because your partner has another partner, it doesn’t mean you should tolerate being deprioritised or neglected.
Just because your partner has another partner, it doesn’t mean it’s okay for your needs to go unmet.
Just because your partner has another partner, it doesn’t mean you have to deal with your jealousy alone because you “signed up for this”.
Just because your partner has another partner, it doesn’t mean you can’t ask for more time and attention in your relationship.
If your partner is not meeting your needs or sticking to your agreements, feeling jealous is not something to be ashamed about or logic your way out of. It means you have boundaries that are being disrespected, and your body is telling you to speak up and advocate for yourself!
You deserve to feel heard and respected in all your relationships, no matter how many partners you or your partners each have 💛
