You’re Still Polyamorous Even With One Partner

I'm polyamorous in the sense that I don't need multiple relationships at all times, but I sure would like to have the option!

I don't think it's healthy for a non-monogamous person to be like "I NEED multiple partners at all times to be happy" in the same way that I don't think it's healthy for a monogamous person to be like "I NEED to be in a relationship to be happy".

What I personally DO need, though, is the freedom and choice to be in as many connections as I want to and have the capacity for. It's ultimately about retaining my personal autonomy while in a relationship and honouring my partner's desire to have the same.
