Mistakes and Harm in Polyamory
The following 2 statements can co-exist:
"You're allowed to make mistakes in polyamory, as long as you learn from the experience"
"People who don't unpack their mononormative beliefs before attempting polyamory have a high risk of causing harm to multiple people"
Making mistakes is part of the human experience, and your mistakes can hurt people. So if you make a mistake, take accountability. If a mistake has been made that negatively affects you, you are allowed to be upset about it regardless of the intention or the experience of the person who did it. It's that simple 🤗
